Feingold for VP?!?

I read a rumor that Russ Feingold is the stealth VP candidate for Obama. Be still my heart!

I'd love to see Senator Russ as VP...he's very bright and articulate, as is Obama. He'd be way better than Kaine or Bayh...

The ironic thing is that the GOPers have been painting Obama as "the most liberal member of the Senate" by a wide margin. They have inadvertantly pulled Russ towards the center!

Feingold is one of the folks who McSurge has cowritten legislation with too, and McCain-Feingold still sticks in the craw of the cons and neocons...what better way to remind them that St. John aint "one of them"?

Hi Larry, I like Feingold for veep for sure. I thought he had a lot of interesting ideas as a potential presidential candidate last year. He looks at things "out of the box", and he would likely garner a majority of swing voters due to his ability to reach across the aisle.

Although we are near the Birdland area where the levee broke, we are just uphill of that area. So we got hit on all sides from all the storms since May, and continuing until the end of July.

Our house got siding blown off, leaving a large hole exposed in the apex, and nearly every single window on the second floor got broken out.

The openings then let the strong winds blow in a huge amount of rain upstairs- so much so that it warped the wood floors in the master bedroom, and water damaged the ceilings in other rooms upstairs.

Our insurance adjuster was a joke from California, who basically blew all the damage off for FEMA to take care of, so now we have to deal with FEMA. Wish me luck- I'm going to need it.

Hope you had a nice birthday- Ryan did. I personally am dreading hitting the half-century mark. Now I have to stop wearing my Winnie -the-Pooh and Tigger shirts. Wah!

It won't be long before I'm sipping tea(with brandy) at the old-folk's home, rocking on the front porch, with my hand-quilted blankee over my arthritic knees ;0)

Well, both VPs are selected now. You gotta like McSame's, huh? If there were really that many people out there who would pick McSame over Obama due to the "experience" issue, would those same people want someone with NO experience a heartbeat away from a president even older than Reagan? This has to confirm the belief that McSame isn't very bright and lacks judgment.

hi sheila,

sorry I didn't respond earlier...and sorry to hear about the damage. I'll have to give you a call soon. Tell the boys I said hello.

hi mick,

Yes...the experience argument went out the window. Colin McEnroe made that point today.

I agree. This was a Hail Mary to the nth degree, and it will fail miserably, especially if the intent was to gather the votes of independent women.
